For some reason I am obcessed with hexagons as a motif these days...for the last 3 to 6 months....
And now I see them everywhere....especially under my two feet...all the time....
I have been fascinated for some time with how shapes and structures seem to resonate down thru various levels and sub-levels of nature...those cool basalt formations like THE GIANT'S CAUSWAY in Northern Ireland....and honeycomb....
...(people who know me also know how much I dig BOXES of all kinds...as a thing, and as a metaphore...and honeycomb, if you think about it, is just a series of thousands of tiny waxen boxes fused together....)...
Why is it the you suddenly see something everywhere, once it has grasped yer attention....
It has been creeping into my art pieces now....

revealing why it has resonated so deeply......
