Just had a cool subway moment: I was waiting for the subway at BROADWAY and 110th, and was listening to some tunes....In particular the NADA SURF song (forgive the ANNOYING VIDEO) ..with the line "I got Blonde on Blonde on my portable radio..." ..don't remember the name...and across the platform on the downtown side were these two guys...performing a lil jazz number on keyboard and sax....and their chord progressions, surprisingly, matched my tune perfectly, while maintaining that kinda loose jazzy improv effect around the mopey, emo melody in my ears...I kept waiting for the dissonance but it never arrived...(you had to be there...)
...it's the little thangs....
