This is what I looked like after a 13 hour greyhound busride extravaganza!!! This included 3 layovers, and riding next to all the really bigpeople (...I do not know what is in the water around here BUTT...) By the time I pulled into Carlotte,N.C....needless to say I wasn't feelin' all snuggly fresh...and when they loaded us onto the final bus to Ashville...I glimpsed the chance of havin' my own seat....which was quickly dashed by this guy (If only I had a picture...) with a t-shirt reading "BAIL BOND SECURITY"...and lookin' like a giant duffle bag stuffed full of bed sheets...i.e. BIGG N' LUMPY ...and of course he climbed on board and made a b-line right for me and asked to sit down, as if he was reading my thoughts and wanted to make me crack...which I very nearly did....but instead I smiled and said "Sure" through clenched teeth....
...the shuttle bus to P-land, on the other hand, turned out to be almost a limo, and was very relaxing...and I turned out to be in the company of 2 other fellow Seattle-ites...
So here I am a week later...a lil' hung ovah, on this sunny,if cold Sunday, and I'm lookin' back on a very busy week....
....there was coal fire building...
....and grindin' on metal....
...and incredible glassblowing demo, by a 27 year old teacher from the Czech Republic...
There was even this gang-land style shooting just outside the iron studio...you gotta be careful what colors you wear in P-LAND...
So that's it for this weekend....more soon, as I better learn how to do this blog crap....
